After 31 years of living in the suburbs of Lincoln, R.I. my husband and I moved to the city of Providence. After raising 3 sons we felt our house was too big and we outgrew the neighborhood. We bought a condominium on the Eastside. It's an old restored duplex built in the 1800's. We love the building and the neighborhood and the best part is we have a small yard. In Lincoln I had a vegetable garden and many perennial gardens.
My dream for our new place was a city garden with not a lot of work. After attending the Flower Show at the Convention Center I found the card of Cris Larson, The Garden Consultant and I called her. We arranged a meeting and the result was wonderful for us.
Cris is so passionate about her work. She was so enthusiastic about our yard and gardens. We gave Cris our favorite colors and flowers and she designed several gardens for us. In the spring we had so many beautiful blooms. We also grew tomatoes and basil like we've never grown before because of Cris' help in plotting the plants.
Cris is the kind of person you want to call back for further consulting just to listen to her spirit. We would recommend her work to anyone planning a creative garden dedicated to what you love.
We would be glad to have anyone come see our gardens which include beautiful Pennsylvania old moss stone walls.
