Design Development
This is the last step of the actual design process. Here, I am most concerned with the detailed appearance and integration of materials. For example, the design development may deal with the written detail of a trellis or a water feature. I often do this by looking at and studying specific areas of a project. These design developments give me and the client a clear idea of what the project will actually look like in certain areas. While they can be quite specific, design developments are mainly concerned with the visual quality of the design.
